Our Mission:

The technology mission of the Thomaston-Upson County School System is to afford access to modern, diverse technologies that support both teaching and learning. Faculty and staff will be skilled and knowledgeable in the use of these technologies, providing students with engaging, technology-rich educational experiences and effectively preparing them for post-secondary and career options.

Our Goals:

Goal 1: Continually update technology to provide teachers and students with access to modern hardware, software and Internet-based resources

Goal 2: Improve student academic achievement, technology literacy, motivation and engagement

Goal 3: Provide professional development opportunities that allow teachers to become more proficient at meaningfully integrating technology into the curriculum and the instructional process

Goal 4: Improve efficiency and communication through the use of effective administrative technology

Goal 5: Utilize technology to communicate with parents and the community

Goal 6: Provide adequate support for the effective use of instructional and administrative technology
